Light pollution from crossing light

Reported via mobile in the Street Lighting category anonymously at 10:38, Monday 13 March 2023

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later

Hi. About a year ago or so the crossing light was changed, and us now extraordinarily bright, almost like landing lights. It shines directly into the house (no 85) so even with blinds closed tightly the room is only reduced to about 50% darkness, preventing sleep. It also affects the local birds, and we have been warned of the effects of light pollution on wildlife. Please could you reduce the lighting or else point it away from the houses and more onto the rail line. Thank you.
