Flooding & Drainage Issue

Reported via iOS in the Surface Water on the Highway category anonymously at 18:39, Tuesday 14 March 2023

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later

Whenever it rains, no matter how much, the road under Fosters Bridge becomes severely flooded and leaves large amounts of surface water. I don’t know why, wether a drain is blocked or if it’s water coming from the railway above but either way, something needs to be done about it as it puts cars and drivers at risk and risks making the road impassable.

  • I think the drains are blocked. I live near the bridge and this flooding happens after rain and stays flooded for hours.
