There is a stretch of disintegrating tarmac that has seriously deteriorated during this winter. It is on the Cottesmore Road as you leave Ashwell. Two detached houses on the right.

We have now inspected the area and our assessment is that no action is required at this stage. The issue reported will be considered as part of the planned programme of work that Rutland County Council carry out.
The issue will be considered alongside other projects and requests and will be prioritised accordingly.
We cannot provide a timescale for a resolution or confirm that this will be rectified. We do combine individual works under our programmed works, for instance gully cleaning.

If the problem gets worse and creates more of a risk to the users then this request can be raised again
