Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4490161.

The A1 is absolutely disgusting with the verges and central reservation and lay-bys full of litter/debris, many of it historic. As this section of A1 is the responsibility of local councils, it crosses numerous boundaries and is simply ignored. I ask, when was this section last litter picked? Looking at historic images dating back to 2010 I would estimate is hasn't been done for many years. You are failing your duties under the environmental protection act. When are you going to clear this road? Nottingham Council have arranged full road closures for the A1 in their county. Why can't you?
