Drain Removed When Retarmacked

Reported via mobile in the Manhole and Drain covers category anonymously at 19:50, Wednesday 24 May 2023

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4592743.

On the evening of 20th May a water pipe burst and flooded the street. The water company came out and repaired the pipe on the morning of 21st May. Whilst doing repair the water company dug up the ground where there were drains. The hole has since been filled in with tarmac and there are no longer any drains here. This area always floods when it rains and hence the drains are needed, they were only just unblocked earlier this year and now they have been removed.
