Lit stop sign hit and angled toward house

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4949784.

Stop sign has been hit and is not angled towards the pedestrian path and the house. As it is has lighting there are concerns with regard to electricity and with regard to safety of pedestrians, cars and houses.

  • This sign has still not been fixed, and is now leaning heavily and the concrete supporting it is breaking up completely.

  • The stop sign and light has been replaced following 2 subsequent car crashes that made it unsafe and therefore I am closing this problem. However, a further car crash on 25th March has dented the post again.
