Brambles, nettles, fallen leaves, weeds

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown category anonymously at 11:01, Wed 6 September 2023

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4964336.

The path is part of the Rutland Round and is regularly used by locals and walkers. Brambles are at eye level and the leaves will only become more slippery in the wet. The weeds by the fence along side Edwards Way are unslightly. This is by far the most unkempt part of the Rutland Round and I have walked it twice. I do go to the area and snip brambles but a better job needs to be done. If you want a volunteer to help sort this out I would be happy to do so but it needs a proper attack.

  • We moved here Nov2019 and quite early on we did a litter pick of glass bottles like these. At around 40 bottles. We gave done another litter pick since then. I attach photos of the situation atm. I could not upload them all. I understood I would receive updates within 10 days which I haven't.
