Blind spot

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction category anonymously at 12:41, Fri 10 November 2023

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5196773.

Coming out of Westons lane onto Well st, there is no view when turning onto the road from the left. This is due to the angle of the road AND foliage/shrubs. It has been a long standing problem where we are reliant on the driver coming from the left to be attentive to to seeing the front of my car to slow down when we can pull out further to see the actual road. This isn’t safe and with 2 new learner drivers using this road, this is an additional hazard. Visitors to our property often struggle turning out of the road safety in daylight hours due to the blind corner. There needs to be a mirror sited on the post opposite as soon as possible.
