Slippery mud
Reported via desktop in the Street Cleansing category anonymously at 12:14, Thursday 25 January 2024
Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5489813.
I regret to advise that the adopted section of Pinfold Lane from the Junction with Cordle Way up to the start of the bridle path (adjacent to the garage driveway of number 15 Pinfold Lane) is in a slippery state, due to thick mud.. Several times a week I walk into the village and occasionally I do this during dark evenings. The present state of the lane presents a health & safety issue. The lane is never cleaned by the road sweeping vehicle due to the lane being excluded from the driver's itinerary. I would be grateful if regular cleaning of the lane could be included in the road sweeping vehicle driver's schedule. Thank you.

I understand that the road cleaning vehicle was in the village this morning but again it looks like Pinfold Lane was omitted from the itinerary. This is in spite of receiving a telephone call from the relevant department, two weeks ago, advising that the lane had been included up to the start of the Bridle Path beyond number 15 Pinfold Lane. Please could you ensure that the driver is instructed accordingly. Thank you.
