Previous Ticket closed incorrectly - FixMyStreet ref: 5257995.

Reported via desktop in the Fly Tipping category anonymously at 16:23, Thursday 25 January 2024

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5491478.

The previous ticket was closed as you "believed" that the rubble was being used on the farm for track mainenance. No track or road maintenance has taken place using this rubbish in over 3 years. Either this is waste or a U1 waste exemption licence is held. If so the U1 certificate has been breached as the waster has not been used within the time limit of three years

The original pile had been there for well over 3 years. This is now been added to several times recently and is now taller than a house and is visible from a distance. It is impossible to tell what is under all of this. It is an absolute eyesore and potential health hazard.

  • Please note this is now attracting further fly tipping. If you inspect the pile you’ll see it also contains plastic and other rubbish that is clearly not used for track maintenance. You may also want to inspect the damage done to the road and verges
