Flooding away from drain on dangerous corner . Assess needed for Care home residents and staff.

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5615392.

Despite drain at the corner of road opposite Mannor Lane Tixover working around the corner 4 inch flood water and rising on Lane to The Grange Home. Danger for emergency transport. Suggestion that pipe from drain too flat. Several complaints from village residents.

  • Obviously flooding has now subsided but there still appears to be a problem. Water collects here frequently and quickly rises to dangerous levels. Please investigate additional methods of drainage.

  • Still flooding and creating a hazard. Perhaps a temporary road sign warning of likely flooding? This will be my last notice.
