Remedial works by National Grid on grass and tarmac standing not fit for purpose

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5667754.
Completed national Grid power cable work has left 8,10 Church Lane pavements and grass standing in very poor condition with very poor quality tarmac, broken kerb stones and a great deal of mess. The land is 95% parish and 5% land owner. No warning of this work was given to 8 Church Lane

It is now confirmed by Severn trent that after the national Grid work was done, a water leak has been detected which is adjacent to the trench dug by the contractors, I await this leak to be fixed

We have now inspected the location of the report according to our highways inspection policy which can be viewed at https://www.rutland.gov.uk/ roads-transport-parking/ highways/ highways-plans-policies/ highway-inspection-policy.
We cannot find any defect that meets the level that a repair is required and therefore no repair is required at this stage. Thank you for reporting this to us and this report has been closed.
