Highway drain Gulley appears to have been blocked
Reported via desktop in the Drains/Ditches Blocked category anonymously at 13:18, Fri 8 March 2024
Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5686104.
Surface water is coming up un to the Road at the end of Foxhill and running on the surface down Main Street to Horton Lane. All drains appear to be full so assume that the drain is blocked thorough this entire length, as it disapears back in to the drains as said at Horton Lane.
Thus is causing a danger on mornings when the temperature is below freezing as the road on Foxhill is becoming splashed and is not salted so the junction is icy.

When are you going to come out and sort out the problem of running water on Main Street? This has been reported several times. Severn Trent have checked and it is ground water. The water comes out of cracks in the highway so it is council responsibility. This has been going on for months with no resolution. Please fix asap.
