Sharp stone on edge of road coming out into road

Reported via iOS in the Cracked or Damaged Road Surface category anonymously at 21:55, Friday 3 May 2024

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5931282.

The road is only a narrow lane, there has been a new access installed by Hanson Cement to access new quarrying and they have concreted the entrance but not joined to the road. They used granite/slate stone which keeps coming up. This morning I met the bus coming the other way and moved over towards this problem and it slashed my front tyre how I missed the bus I don’t know. The bus driver luckily saw me loose control and emergency braked to miss me.
