Still NO Action regarding overhanging bushes …..
Reported via mobile in the Trees or Vegetation category anonymously at 09:27, Fri 24 May 2024
Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6014818.
The problem was flagged up months ago by a number of people and nothing has happened!
The hedge and bushes are now having a serious impact on traffic, and traffic leaving Whissendine must now partially drive on the opposite side of the road to avoid damage to vehicles. On coming traffic then needs to drive onto the footpath if vehicles want to avoid a collision.
This should have been addressed in early Spring and now nesting birds etc may seriously restrict a cutting back operation. Come on Whissendine residents, add to the requests for urgent action!!!

Well I reported this on 24th May 2024 and almost immediately received a phone call from someone at Rutland County Council .. but months later still no action! It shouldn’t be necessary to have to now drive on the footpath to pass oncoming vehicles .. how much more dangerous will it get before action is taken?
