Overgrowing trees and brambles

Reported via desktop in the Trees or Vegetation category anonymously at 13:43, Fri 14 June 2024

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6108277.

The section of verge on the A6121 Stamford Road South Luffenham between 8 Highfield Cottages and Pinfold Lane has become over grown taking up nearly 50% of the footpath causing pedestrians to walk on the grass verge and at times onto the road. This is highway land back to the remains of the old field boundary and needs major works. The bramble is Growing out and could catch someone's eye or face. This has been ongoing for a number of years even the street light is buried in the tree growth.
