Hedge too high

Reported via desktop in the Trees or Vegetation category anonymously at 12:38, Mon 1 July 2024

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6176518.

Can something be done about the height of the hedge on the right hand side when exiting the Co-op? Left hand side when you look at the petrol station. I came out of the Co-op today and it is so difficult to see cars and even large lorries that I nearly had an accident. You can't see what is coming from the right because of the hedge and also there is a slight rise that hides vehicles.

Updates

  • While I was taking this picture there was nearly another accident as a car started to pull out but had to quickly reverse when another car came from Oakham. Like me he couldn't see what was coming because of the height and width of the hedge.
