Public Footpath not accessible.

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown category anonymously at 19:05, Thu 4 July 2024

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6192782.

According to the Exton circular walk described on the Discover Rutland website, at the point shown on the map the footpath south to the Fort Henry lakes is via steps down a steep embankment. The steps are no longer there, so the footpath effectively comes to an end. Also, the 2 yellow footpath arrows on a pole at this point direct you north towards Greetham and west back towards Westland Wood. There is no arrow for the footpath south towards Fort Henry. So anyone walking from Exton on reaching this point must retrace their steps.
