Incorrect 40mph speed limit on B668 Stretton to Greetham
Reported via desktop in the Road Signs category anonymously at 09:20, Sat 27 July 2024
Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6282027.
Following the recent changes to the new B668 Ram Jam road junction the new west bound speed limit signage after the A1 (northbound) exit junction has reduced the entire Stretton to Greetham section of the B668 to a 40mph limit. The eastbound section of the same road: from Greetham to Stretton still has the original speed limit, which has not changed from the national speed limit. This is causing serious increased risk of accidents with frustrated westbound drivers overtaking traffic that is complying with the 40mph limit on this long straight road.
