Blocked Drain

Reported via mobile in the Drains/Ditches Blocked category anonymously at 09:16, Wed 2 October 2024

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6541157.

When there is heavy rain the drain in the Square in Ryhall can't cope with the volume of water and floods the road and the Square. This has only occured over the past two years. Attempts have been made to clear the drain but to no avail. This is a potentially dangerous situation as the water has breached the village shop doorway and is only yards from houses in the Square during bad rainfall.
