Uncontrolled growth of hedge & potholes on opposite side of the road

Reported via mobile in the Overhanging tree, hedge or shrub category anonymously at 15:14, Monday 28 October 2024

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6668124.

The hedge has been allowed to grow approx 1m. out from the boundary fence creating a blind bend forcing vehicles into the centre of the road this is compounded by a series of large potholes on the opposite side of the road forcing oncoming vehicles to do the same. This creates a highly likely danger of a head on collision. I personally have had 2 near misses here thankfully both parties were travelling slow enough to stop. This problem has been present for at least 12 months.
