Large manhole cover in Rouges Lane near to Westland Road turn off has cracked/broken edges and looks unsafe

Reported via mobile in the Cracked or Damaged Road Surface category by Ian Taylor at 17:23, Sat 21 December 2024

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6888523.

This is the access road to the Army base and 30 tonne tanks on 20 tonne transporters regularly drive over this cover; these vehicles are too large to swerve around. If one of these heavy vehicles was to collapse this cover it could cause a major access problem. The council have recently identified a pot hole for repair some 15 meters away but have ignored this one
