Redundant bin

Reported via Android in the Street Cleansing category anonymously at 10:25, Saturday 1 February 2025

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7068166.

There used to be a village shop at 43 High Street Ketton ///forgiving.consults.swoop which closed many years ago. Because it was a shop there was a large litter bin by the entrance. The bin is now being used by nearby residents as an extra waste bin for personal use. I have witnessed this taking place. I would suggest this is not the intended purpose of a street bin and it should be moved to the top of Bull Lane where it would be used properly by passing pedestrians.
