100 m stretch of mud on road

The amount of mud on the road makes it almost impassible on a bike and for walking. It is dangerously slippery for cars This is really bad and needs clearing Surely it’s the farmer’s responsibility to make sure they don’t compromise road safety

  • I have also reported this to RCC. This road remains in a very bad condition, covered in mud, as it has been since December. It is hazardous for cyclists and other road users.

  • We have now inspected the defect and this area is not the responsibility of Rutland County Council. We are not able to advise who is responsible for this defect and will not take any further action.

    We would request that the originator identifies the organisation that is responsible for this. This enquiry has been closed by Rutland County Council
