Severe Mud on road

Reported via mobile in the Spillages / Debris category anonymously at 10:57, Saturday 8 February 2025

Sent to Rutland County Council 1 day, 1 hour, 38 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 7104020.

Severe deep mud on the road left by farmer. Huge chunks of hard mud very dangerous. I drive this road every week and even though I almost stop to drive through it the lumps will end up doing damage. It is an offence. This is not a one off it is every week but this week was definitely the worse. I’m not talking a bit of mud on tyres it’s like going through a ploughed field!!! Cyclists would never be able to pass it.

Updates

  • I’ve just took my car to the car wash and the mud is so severe they couldn’t get it all off it’s like clay!!! Is the farmer going to cover the cost every week to have it valeted as the mud just won’t come off!!!
