Excessive mud on road

Reported via mobile in the Street Cleansing category anonymously at 05:34, Thursday 6 March 2025

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7233027.

I have report this issue now on a number of occasions. There is excess mud a various locations running the length of Lambley lodge lane, as you enter the lane drone the village to the first gateway after crossing the stream, and then again when you pass the first gateway on the right hand side. This is a skid risk that is causing a significant risk to road users. Despite report issue over a number of weeks this has not yet been addressed. This is an adopted highway that is in constant use. As the council have so far failed to act on the various reports made, I would like to make clear that as a regular user of the road i consider that you are knowingly and willingly placing me and other road users at risk. As a result if necessary I will seek to recover damages from the council resulting from any accident or injury resulting from the councils failure to maintain the road in a safe condition.
