  • The number and size of these potholes present a significant danger to life as cars rapidly slow down or stop and swerve about in an effort to avoid them. As this is immediately next to an A1 slip road (both entrance and exit) there is a lot of traffic.

  • We have now inspected the location of the report according to our highways inspection policy which can be viewed at https://www.rutland.gov.uk/ roads-transport-parking/ highways/ highways-plans-policies/ highway-inspection-policy.

    We cannot find any defect that meets the level that a repair is required and therefore no repair is required at this stage. Thank you for reporting this to us and this report has been closed.
