Good morning, Re: Safety concern regarding fencing at Lime Tree Avenue. I could not find a “problem category” for fencing, so I hope using the Tree/Vegetation category is acceptable. Having been in situ for some 20 years and close to their maximum height, you arranged for the laurels on Lime Tree Avenue to be heavily pruned about 18 months ago (Stuart Kidd, Forestry Officer, should have details). One of the issues with the laurels was that they were pushing over the fence adjacent to the pathway, and the one that prevents access to the culvert going under Lime Tree Avenue. The fence closest to the culvert is now completely broken and may soon fall into the culvert. The one adjacent to the pathway is also broken, potentially dangerous and needs repair. I have attached three photos. Photos 1 and 2 show the fence closest to the culvert, and photo 3 shows the one adjacent to the pathway. I hope you can assist, and look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards,
Keith Webber.

Good morning, Re: Safety concern regarding fencing at Lime Tree Avenue. Update – The new fence closest to the culvert, as shown in photo 1, looks very good. Thank you for attending to this issue. However, it appears that some of the soil underpinning the third post from the left has subsequently fallen away, please see photo 2, and some of the rocks from the supporting cage that help to hold the earth bank in place have been removed, please see photo 3. I hope you can assist, and I look forward to hearing from you. Kind Regards, Keith Webber.
