Grass bank toppings lane

Reported via mobile in the Missed Grass Cutting category anonymously at 11:51, Thursday 24 April 2025

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7475071.

The grass on toppings lane on the sloping bank NR the junction with back road is badly over grown with waste concrete at the top of the bank liable to fall down into the road which is a main bus route. The whole lane needs regular weed and overgrowth control as it is restricting the ability for drivers to see if other vehicles are approaching. I have in the last few weeks seen 3 near misses there one of which involved a school bus.

  • Have reported this before and dont seem to have any response from anyone . as you can see in photographes it gets more unsightly and causes lots of problems to traffic all up and down on tippings lane . and makes it dangerous for pedestrians walking up the lane .
