Regularly unable to walk on pavement

Reported via mobile in the Road markings category anonymously at 20:53, Tue 13 May 2025

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7565609.

Double yellow lines needed all the way along this road, not just at certain points! I’m sick and tired of having to walk in the road to get around cars that have parked on the pavement. Thankfully I don’t, however if I required a wheelchair or used a buggy, this would be impassable. This also needs to be monitored regularly and ticketing as required (you’d make a fortune!)

  • The black Nissan is the same car that was parked on the pavement on the 19th June! Mercedes parked next to entrance on double yellow lines and path

  • You have had this road closed over a week for resurfacing, and have not put double yellow lines down?? People parking here regularly causes obstructions on the pavement, road and for through traffic, why have you not actioned this whilst you were resurfacing and repainting?!
