Large scale damage to carriageway causing damage to vehicles

Reported via mobile in the Cracked or Damaged Road Surface category anonymously at 11:49, Monday 30 June 2025

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7785239.

The extent of the previously reported damage to the highway is now so bad that it is not possible to navigate the highway without bottoming out, damaging the vehicle. This in tact part of the highway is so narrow that it can not be navigated with both set of wheel of an undamaged surface. The extent of the damage runs from the entrance of Lambley Lodge lane to the bridge over the stream and slightly beyond. The road has subsided and the failed edge is of a considerable depth. Run off during rain continues to bring considerable debris from the first field gateway on the right after the being. A grip to drain water was put in this has not been effective. Please can someone address the issue with the highway and provide detail of how I can recover the cost of damage to the underside of my car from the council. Thank you
