No markings on road someone is going to get killed if its not done
Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7868086.
We keep reporting this dangerous junction but nothing is done. Cars come from Normanton Park Road turning right towards Stamford A606 and pull into oncoming traffic as the lines are very faded and worn out. The junction is used by tourists that don’t understand where to go so end up in a head on situation. What will it take for RCC to sort this junction out!!!

This last week I have seen 3 drivers who have missed the inadequate and worn road markings on this junctions and turned right in the oncoming lane. One resulted in a near miss. This junction requires reformatting before somebody is killed on this busy junction with the A606. I really do struggle youngest d why the present markings are not repainted and a sign designating the non typical lane designation. Visitors to the area see the oncoming lane from Stamford and choose what is typical and use the right hand lanes. Signs on the floor are too late as these are hidden by the vend. I personally find it difficult to believe that any traffic expert would find this layout acceptable if they used it.
