We cannot get to our front door due to flooding which is dueto the blocked drains

I have reported this before several times. The drain on the corner had a blockage just after it and all the drains up the hill are blocked, full of vegetationand gravel. The water floods down the road and across our front doorway. It is also slowly washing away the road aggregate beside the kerb on the hill. It has been like this for several years.

Updates

  • I'm told one drain up the hill on Weston Road has been cleared out, but that has not changed anything as proven by the rain yesterday. The blockage is just beyond the drain on the corner underground, as I was informed by the council several years ago. Why can this not be resolved as yes I cannot get to my front door when it's raining heavily without getting soaking wet feet!
