'SCHOOL - KEEP CLEAR' Markings needed?

Reported via desktop in the Road markings category anonymously at 07:21, Wed 1 October 2025

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8236159.

Why are there no 'Zig Zag' markings at the School entrance on Willoughby Drive? This is where parents and children enter and leave the site, and where all the cars congregate. Zig zags have just been painted on Main Street, across the end of School Lane, but that is just the access for staff and deliveries. Where is the sense in that?

Updates

  • Please note, your map is very difficult to use and will not let me focus on the exact area. Please read below.

Attached our two pictures with a deep pothole. This is situated directly outside 44a Main Street, Empingham. Just around the corner from Willoughby Drive. It is on the same side as 44a Main Street as you are driving away from Empingham.

Please can somebody have a look and look to fill it as soon as it’s going to get worse and bigger. I’ve already driven through it and received a big jolt through my car suspension.

Any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. My postcode is LE15 8PS. Kind regards. Thanks
