White Lines Faded on Junction
Reported via desktop in the Road markings category anonymously at 10:16, Tue 14 October 2025
Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8292939.
Egleton down towards bird sanctuary is very busy and road markings outside corner house have faded. People cannot see them either on bike or in car and it is becoming dangerous. It is a 3 way junction but people treat it as one way junction.

We have reported this many times by phone and e-mail. This junction serves two of the busiest attractions in Rutland namely the cycle track and bird centre. The lack of priority road markings makes it extremely dangerous and we take our life in our hands every time we leave our home. Since we have lived here we have taken several people to hospital following accidents. Please urge the council to take uregent action.

This dropped pin should be placed on the t-junction not the property -
8 months have elapsed since the lastest official enquiry on these faded road markings. The lack of give way broken lines leads to dangers surround all 3 directions of traffic and often have cycylists (which will now start to increase with the weather) rushing through - where accidents have occured in the past)
It also leaves the residents of forge cottage unable to disembark from their driveway calmy as risk of traffic ignoring the rules of road it at play - just after some paint!
