Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8474079.
Opposite the village shop just to the east (downhill) of the junction of Main Street and St Andrews Close. Manhole cover has been lifted and incorrectly replaced leaving one corner raised. This is on the pavement and a trip hazard.

This cover lifts every time there is heavy rain, with water pouring out of it on to the pavement, the drain age pipes under the pavement and road need to be cleared.

Whilst what you say (update 27/12) may well be correct it does not change the fact that this cover has been lifted and incorrectly replaced. The cover is "keyed" so it will only fit one-way but it has been rotated 180 degrees and is siting high in one corner.
