6 meter deep rut

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8676627.

A deep long rut down the centre of the road. A death trap for any motorcyclist running wide or filtering in traffic. This is at least 3 inches deep along its length.

Updates

  • I can confirm that this is still in the road and still presenting a serious risk to motorcyclists and cyclists using this turning. In addition as it is at the pedestrian crossing point would be a serious trip hazard for anyone with a rollator or other mobility aid.
