Botched repair by National Grid

Reported via desktop in the Road and Pavement Issues category by Kate Finnemore at 17:35, Saturday 28 February 2026

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9018765.

National Grid came out to make repairs and have left the public footpath between Finch Close and Branston Road in a disgusting state. They have not reinstated kerb stones, there is mud protruding all over the patch, they have thrown a handful of grass seed over compacted clay, they have placed tarmac partially on an area that is supposed to be grass and they have left mud all over the path, which is now much narrower than it previously was.
