Missed grass cutting

I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding the failure to maintain the council-owned grassed area adjacent to my property.

This area is the responsibility of the council and has been included in the council’s grass-cutting programme in previous years. Unfortunately, it appears to have been missed again this year.

This is not the first time I have had to chase the council regarding this issue. The repeated failure to carry out routine maintenance is causing unnecessary frustration and has resulted in neighbours incorrectly assuming that I am responsible for the overgrown area when, in fact, it is not part of my property.

I would appreciate an explanation as to why this area has been omitted from the current maintenance schedule and confirmation of when the grass will be cut. I would also like reassurance that appropriate measures will be put in place to ensure this recurring issue does not continue in future years.
