Normanton Road needs double yellow lines

Reported via mobile in the Parking category anonymously at 21:42, Monday 29 June 2026

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9704901.

People parking on pavement to avoid paying to part at Rutland Water. Especially in nice weather causes problems both driving through and walking when they completely obstruct the pavement (there have been times I cannot get through on the pavement as a single person, let alone someone in a wheelchair or with a pram) however double yellow lines elsewhere in the village to deem to be adhered to so maybe adding them along here will stop this from happening.

  • Every summer this happens and gets reported and every summer the council do absolutely nothing about it. Someone will get hurt and it will be on who have taken no action.
