Thorny branches over pavement

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9746867.

The brambles are growing over the pavement here causing 2 problems. One problem is the obscured sight lines for traffic exiting Maresfield Road. The other is the obstruction to pedestrians. Today I witnessed a child struggling to get along the pavement, almost falling into the road, due to the thorny branches blocking them.

Updates

  • The vegetation is overgrown by Kerbl. The pavement access is restricted for mobility scooters prams etc which is highly dangerous along this road. Please can this be cut back asap!
