The speed table has subsided

Reported via mobile in the Road Cracked/damaged category anonymously at 16:07, Tuesday 7 July 2026

Sent to Rutland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9749100.

Both sides of the speed table have subsided again, and the traffic sounds like the underground trains trundling through their tunnels, especially the Lorrys using them as launch pass. The side nearest the houses has been like it following work from anglian water, this has been fixed multiple times over the last 5 years. The side nearest the fields was not fixed as agreed, even after being painted, last year when the request for both sides was raised.

I have been in contact with Jack Nixon, Traffic Engineering Officer, and advised him that once Anglian water have carried out further repairs 13-17 July I would raise again
